Welcome to Odessa College in Pecos!
Our Pecos campus is the largest extension site, offering both credit and non-credit courses. Pecos also offers many of the student services you'd find on the main campus such as Financial Aid, Admissions, Testing, and Tutoring, saving our students a trip to Odessa for requirements like testing or support services like tutoring.
Continuing Education Classes in Pecos
Registration for Continuing Education is ongoing until the start of class. Early registration, however, is recommended as classes do fill quickly. Registration can be done in the following ways.

CE online registration is available & EASY!
- Register Here for CE;
- Click the "Register Now" button;
- Click Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes;
- Search for (Key Word) – type a word in the title of the class;
- A list of classes will appear. Check the box next to the class you want to take;
- Click Submit at the bottom of the page;
- Complete the registration information.
Basic Peace Officer Training (BPOC):
The Basic Peace Officer Course prepares individuals to become certified in the law enforcement profession in Texas, which is also offered in Pecos. Our training academy exceeds the required number of hours currently required by the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement (TCOLE). After successful completion of the academy, individuals will sit for the Basic Peace Officer license state exam. A 70% or higher on the state exam would qualify our academy graduates to work for any department in the state. Our instructors are diverse practitioners and experts in various fields relating to criminal justice.

Student Services in Pecos:
Admissions, Financial Aid, TSI Placement Exam, Academic Advisement & Registration are all offered at the Pecos Center.
Testing:
TSI Placement Exam available everyday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
TEAS Exam available everyday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tutoring Services:
Math Tutoring Services are available by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm - 9 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.
