Odessa, TX –– Odessa College invites the community to a Town Hall Meeting tonight at 6 PM to discuss the impact of Vision 2030, the bond proposition on the May 3rd ballot that would support the college's long-term strategic plan for growth and development. The event will take place in the Community Room on the second floor of the Wood Health Sciences Building and will feature a panel discussion with key college leaders.

Moderated by Associate Vice President for Student Services Mireya Jacuinde, the panel will include:

  • Ken Zartner – Vice President for Administrative Services
  • Charles Quintela – Director of Teacher Education Programs
  • Rob Turner – Department Chair of Auto/Diesel Technology
  • Wayne Baker – Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
  • Dr. Jon Ortiz – Assistant Band Director

This Town Hall Meeting provides an opportunity for community members to engage with Odessa College leadership and gain insights into how Vision 2030 will shape the institution’s future. Topics of discussion will include infrastructure repair and replacement, academic program development, and the enhancement of services for the community and students alike.
