Odessa College Theatre will bring Mary Shelley’s gothic masterpiece Frankenstein to the stage Oct. 23–25 at The Globe Theatre at Odessa College.

Directed by Aaron Christopher Barton, the production follows Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant young scientist whose determination to conquer death leads him to create a living being. Horrified by what he has done, Victor abandons the Creature, setting in motion a tragic pursuit across mountains, cities, and frozen seas.

Part horror story, part heartbreak, Frankenstein explores ambition, responsibility, rejection, and the human need for acceptance. The production asks audiences to consider the question that has haunted readers for more than 200 years: Who is the real monster?

The cast features Odessa College students, alumni, employees, and community members, bringing together performers from across the Permian Basin for a chilling theatrical experience just in time for Halloween.

Performances will take place Friday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 25, at The Globe Theatre at Odessa College, located at 2308 Shakespeare Road in Odessa. Performance times and tickets are available at HERE.

Free parking is available.

The production carries a suggested rating of Teen due to staged violence and death.
