The Odessa College Testing Center is committed to providing equitable testing opportunities for all students and community members, including those with documented disabilities or special needs.
- National or third-party exams (such as HESI, CLEP, GED) often require approval directly from the test sponsor before testing accommodations can be arranged. Students should begin this process early as requests typically must be submitted no less than 30 days before the intended test date.
- Odessa College exams and certain institutional assessments (such as TSIA) may be approved locally through the Special Populations Outreach Specialist. Students seeking accommodations for these exams must submit all required documentation to the Special Populations Office at least two (2) weeks prior to their scheduled exam date.
Please keep in mind that private testing rooms are limited and will be scheduled on a first come, first-served basis. While the Testing Center strives to meet each student’s individual needs, advance planning is essential to ensure that appropriate arrangements can be made.
